Fashion Week

This is my first review of fashion. I was too flabbergasted by the Wills Fashion Week which just got over a couple of days ago. Indian fashion ramp has been always prized with great collections from the celebrity fashion designers like Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani Payal Jain.models like Carol Gracias, Anchal Kumar and bollywood celebrities like Shilpa Shetty and Lara Dutta.

The fashion week this year emphasized more on the dresses, which were elegant. Elegancy I call here is, what if you compare the same with the recently worn dresses by some of the most controversial Indian Bollywood actresses (not to hurt their feelings). After the deep cleavage visible dresses and etc, the fashion week revealed that the fashion statement does not define and depends on the percentage of body revealed, but depends more on the elegancy and creativity, which are presented. Whether you call this a shift of Indian mentality or the term globalization effecting fashion in India, this definitely calls to show the western fashion designers that we are here to survive and stay.
Dresses and design this time featured not only the not wearable dresses but on the dresses, which though were simple but were also creative and which can be easily used on the daily basis. Feature of this year fashion week included many accessories which were based on the motif of not only fashion but also elegancy and a statement within itself. Flowers sprinkling the carry-all bags and the furls in the frocks and the skirts, presented a fusion of the yesteryears with the future.
The show was flagged of with the designs from Rajesh Pratap which marked the elegancy and the theme of this year's Will Fashion Week. Mixture of the Ghaghra Cholis with the kolhapuri by Anjana Bhargav definitely added the Indian touch to the fashion week. Ranna Gill summer-spring swim wear brought you closer to the Hawaiian beach, with its Latino American designs. The mixture of colors made you imagine, sitting next to Cuba beach surrounded by celebrities all ready to show off their designs. The designs were truly a head turner. Rohit Bal's collection preceded the curtain down for the show.
This year Fashion week had more than 40 designers, who showcased their collection for the spring 2008. The event was inaugurated first in the year 2000, and unlike the monotonous starred hotel venue, the show was held at a sprawling venue with ample of space even for the buyers lounge.

It Exists !!

Hello!!!
Still feels like the best times together, where are the days? I remember everything! I remember you! WE laughed until we cried! We stood there, sometimes our conversation lost! We tried to reach beyond emptiness, and we were there, there was never anything known as emptiness! Id rather pick up a rock, a stick full of thorns Rear back and let them fly, cause those sticks wouldn’t cut, stones hurt as much , As the sound of our goodbye !

If you are feeling lonely, don't let yourself go down, remember you are the best. There are times when you would be low, but then its not you it’s your feelings which are low and you are ought to give away the feelings every time and prove the world that you are the best. You maybe lonely out there in the cold and you may seem smiles to fade away, but then don’t help them to de-motivate, be a fighter.
Call up! Someone is there! Maybe somebody can help you! Is that what you are thinking! You don’t need anyone to help you! You are there for yourself!! You are there to survive! There is nothing better than you! Life is there to take you curtail you in itself, don’t let it go; don’t let the worms eat your brain! Never say there is no hope! There is nothing known as hope, it is you who is yourself! It's nothing like "If you were" Its always 'you are’!!
There are times when you would have cried, but then always remember that always hold your head, because you are there to rule the world. People will come and go what will always be there is you! What you have done, well or bad! It remains! Hold on just don't loose your grip! Opportunities knock your door only once you cannot let the chances go! You are to survive! We’ve all been sorry, we’ve all been hurt but how we survive, is what makes us who we are!! You gotta say what's in your mind Something about yourself May not seem right sometimes, Life keeps getting in the way, Whenever you try, somehow the plan is always rearranged, It’s so hard to say, But you've gotta do what's best for you, You’ll be ok..You've go to move on and be who you are, you just don't belong here, hope you understand, You may find our place in this world someday
But at least for now You gotta go this way, You Don't wanna leave it all behind, You have to get your hopes up!! You are the Best!!!
Will end by this!!
Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though its breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, youll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
Youll see the sun come shining through for you

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
Thats the time you must keep on trying
Smile, whats the use of crying?
Youll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

Thats the time you must keep on trying
Smile, whats the use of crying?
Youll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

Stick Out

Hockey is the National Game of India!! Shahrukh Khan is one of the most popular actors in India. What happens when both are combined or mixed together ? Is it like sugar in sugarcane juice.
Well ChakDe is a movie which can be called a sugarcane juice with sugar in it.
I don’t know what critics would like to say about the movie but then, it is a perfect or a near to perfect made movie with no flaws, and even though they exist, they cannot be pointed out.
Something which seldom happen in the Indian cinema, this movie neither has the unnecessary affair prodigy nor does it have songs, where in the actor and actress normally tend to establish themselves as complete fools in the foreign nation. The best part of the movie is that it makes you shift uncomfortably in your seat, which is caused due to anxiety and anxiousness of what is going to happen next, even though you know the result right before the movie started.Although critics have rated this as the best movie of SRK,I would not rate it that way. But then it was definitely at par with his best movie. A striking feature is that you see a much fit SRK.
The plot of the movie revolves not around a bunch of related romantic actors and actresses, but around a group of people who, even though have been portrayed in small roles, they are important parts of every flick in the film. The movie is about a player in hockey who has been declared as a traitor because, he was as per the good ol' Indian Media the culprit behind the loss in the world championship, which was held between the arch rivals Pakistan.
However after a span of 7 years he is set to return!! This time he is there to coach the Indian Women Team, who he believes can win the world cup. The movie tries to show the real hardship and the bitter truth of the National Game which is not so popular.
All the characters portray and show all emotions whether helpless or happy, which definitely wince your eyes at times in the movie.
Even though the movie tries to portray a sense of patriotism, by crossing some barriers, but then overall its worth a big applause not only for King Khan but to everyone who have been related to the film.
I would rate it as a Must Watch!!!

GMAT Saga on a roll

Well long time I have been out of this, with no excuses, whatever, well I think that the next 31 days would be a saga about my quest for GMAT. I think that the next 25 days would be the same amount or more torture than what Mr. Haneef must have gone through in the Australian prison. Well I think that this may be my last shot and I don’t want to loose it. Well time has come to do something Stupid as stupid can be, but with a box of chocolates. With my friend coming from South Africa today, her is supposed to get me a bottle, which I want to open as a part of don’t know what.
So the quest starts...

My Fastest

After loads of 'Google, I completed 'The Afghan, a novel by Frederick Forsyth, that made me realize that for the past 3 months I have been wasting nothing, but my time on train traveling and not reading any books, which has been my hobby since a decade.
Well coming to The Afghan, did a lot of search on net which made me understand what Al-Qaeda is and the threat it poses to the world. Well a beautiful monotonous written novel which makes you so indulged, that you want to know what will happen next. The novel tries to bring into you hardships which are faced by both sides, where in, I would love to call the US and UK, allies and Al-Qaeda, AQ.The description by Frederick really sounds chilling though it maybe not true, or even harder than what has been described. The story evolves round an AQ person in capture, named Izamat Khan , and the dummy which the allies send into AQ,once they come to know about a mass destruction project ,which is about to be undertaken by AQ.The spy is by the name Colonel Martin whose role is very well described. The novel is written in a monotonous pattern, in which the author tries to describe the history of the recruits. Overall I would rate the novel with a rating of 3/5.
The novel, though not my best, gave me a ‘blop back into reading and also helped me to build back my confidence and concentration. Just finished the book in 5 hours which was not that bad huh!! Hope to start with 'Galileo’s Daughter' which was bought by me nearly 5 months back. Plan to finish that soon too. However, have understood something that, my affection for reading still exists.

Mollify

Tonight!! Well this is the first poem I am going to write for my blog

Sitting in this world untouched
A morose within me morbid in the head
What is this ?
A Promise unkept ?
The boorish attitude breaking again
Heading up to my head, a conscious regained
I try to demur against this move of his
But thats what i was starting to miss
The enzyme within enthralls the ennui surrounding
Indistinct voices incite the encumbering
What i limn is a portrait of hunger
Manacle required for the massacre
An odor too noxious filling the atmosphere
Renaissance is something what i Fear
Into the darkness is what I near !!!

GraveYard Shift: Unknowingly Malevolence

""The graveyard shift or "grave shift" is a popular name for the "third shift" covering the early morning hours such as 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. or midnight to 8 a.m. According to Evan Morris, "Most authorities agree that the 'graveyard shift' took its name from the spookiness of working the 'ghostly' hours after midnight, perhaps in a nearly deserted factory with only a 'skeletal' crew on duty." "" -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shift_work

That was the shift I had finished after continuing with the morning shift making it a really 16 hours job straight away. I was on my way to home, some 25 miles away from my workplace, and , amazingly after sleeping in the local (In Mumbai you have EMU (electric multiple units) running from the main city to the suburbs), everything seemed to be still ashen around me. Suddenly when we were crossing the Thane Creek Bridge on the way, the benign climate suddenly became really bad with a gust wind and the sea looking really wild. That was the day which I was hoping to see!The wild sea which always had fascinated me, but then suddenly a gash of wind knocked my bag which I was always chary, off the train going at a little less than some 60 miles an hour. All I had to say was Aaah!! Reaching the station I was determined to go all the way down through the busy railway tracks to find my bag just lost by me, clamoring around that I was at fault. First I was hesitant to even go there, but then the thought of my chemistry lab attitude of "Everything is Empirical" was enough to help me carry on. The tracks now with hard rain coming in (sufficient enough for me to curse the Gods) were no doubt encumbrance, and that amalgamated with my so called fear, was sufficient enough to prevent me going any further. The lashing sound of the waves and the thundering and rattling sound of the EMU, every 5 minutes was embarking in my a fulmination to continue any further, when this idyll and illicit journey was suddenly came to an end when I saw too guys carrying my bag.

The way back did not seem to be as distressful because I had company, a company of two guys who were scared enough that they would be caught by the so called guards because what we were doing was against the laws.

Though what I had done would be sounding mettlesome to few who know what I have tried doing, but then the experience was perilous and could obviously be pernicious. But now I have an attitude which is very sagacious. But then a piece of advice "being stolid helps you to unearth efficacy"

What an Ideology to Follow Part 2

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? ooh!
Some say its just a part of it:
Weve got to fulfil de book.
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Too late,my time has come,
Sends shivers down my spine-
Bodys aching all the time,
Goodbye everybody-Ive got to go-
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth-
Mama ooo- (any way the wind blows)
I dont want to die,
I sometimes wish Id never been born at all-
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""'''

Well coming back again to these songs. First one is by Bob Marley and known widely as one of the most religious song - redemption song, and the other as we know it from Queen. These songs are not just a part of the Rock World or Jazz or Rap, these are the songs which people have followed. Have you heard "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong, well if you have not heard of that just grab the link below and hear it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnRqYMTpXHc

This song is really worth listening!! What I am trying to convey here is that there are and were people in this world who have thought of a beautiful world to live in. Not a world destroyed by the rotten thoughts of the greatest leaders of the world dead or alive. What is required is the understanding of one self, to stop being an Altruist, to understand that the world is for you to live.

What an Ideology to Follow!!!

=================================
I thought I heard a baby cry this morning,
I thought I heard a baby cry this today.
You didnt hear no baby cry this morning,
You didnt hear no baby cry today.
=================================
Oooooo pa, (let me go, let me go, let me go.)
Oooooo ma, (take me home, take me home, take me home.)
There must be some mistake,
I never meant to let them take,
Away my soul.
Am I too old?
Is it too late?
=================================
What a coincidence people here would have definitely understood here the two lyrics. Differentiated between them and understood what I am trying to compare here.
A fan would abhor me on this trying to compare the Grateful Dead and the Pink Floyd here, well there is nothing known as comparison its just about understanding the thinking of few of the people involved here lets say David Gilmourt,Roger Waters and The Grateful Dead. Well why just two artist of Floyd and all of Grateful Dead. The point here is ignoring any of the band members of Grateful Dead would be an injustice to the member being ignored which is very much unlike Pink Floyd where you can exclude Barret or Mason. Okay somebody does not like Floyd suddenly is it? Oh no! Well I have been a hardcore Floyd fan throughout and have really followed some of their songs, but listening to Grateful Dead and others like that of Bob Dylan, have made me realize people in this world have been never limited to their thoughts but have given themselves time and space to stray into the dreamed of world, where normal people feared to even dream of. Dylan I believe has been a very strong word in the western music (as said by Indians), an artist you would never thought can exist in the world.

My Countdown

Aaah!!!!
The countdown starts again, this time it’s for 2 days. One 31st August and the other one yet to be released by the so called autonomous institutes of India, which though autonomous are governed by the best politicians in the world against whom, there are several criminal cases pending yet they don’t even try to blink from committing a second crime, and against whom several homicide murder cases could have been framed but were never done. Well, let’s leave these things apart and let me start off with my dirty politics of my so called life which has to go on now for the next few months which may obviously try to havoc certain parts of my life, where in this could be for a better me tomorrow. The importance of coffee though has been mentioned in my previous blog would definitely try to show a good show. Coming to the next part of it, what is essence of living this life and why is this a countdown which I am referring in my blog, to be honest I have lost touch with few of my skills major being writing and reading and am desperately trying to regain them back, hence decided to write and start of with this blog itself. Few of my friends started even asking me, why have you stopped? Well that’s not the reason to start writing again; it’s that I cannot loose my passion and my hobby, whatever phase of life I am in.Coming Back to the countdown I know obviously this was really an aberration (of what I had been doing previously), but can I say that to be an abnegation?
Oh not at all, it was just that I started finding my self to be curmudgeon.
Well whatever all I can say that I was simply a Dolt!!!
However with the countdown beginning and with me writing this blog 31st August is just round the corner and mid-November (tentatively) is just round the other corner, and since I don’t want again to be dolorous , I have to dislodge from my current activity and hence, need something by which I can give my IT carrier a euthanasia !!!

My Best friend.........

Did I ever have a Best Friend, well what do you mean by a friend. All these terms seems to be very traumatizing to me. Longevities of not meeting making you talk with someone, someone you start needing, to be beside you and understand you the way, where in you want the person to speak before you speak. A way that the person should me amalgamated in you, where in you both become something hard to separate and distinguished. The essence of care and understanding, a love which cannot be defined or understood, a feeling of togetherness where in you know what that person wants and needs before it is conveyed to you. You get frustrated and the person has the solution to that frustration which maybe stupid to the whole world around you. Really hard to find, maybe in dreams, you don’t want to loose due to some required relations, whom you wouldn’t mind introducing to hundreds of people around you and be proud that you are connected to such a person. The ‘someone, who relies and trusts you, the ‘someone whom the whole world may take anything as but ,an understanding of the relation exists, with a personal honor. The personal honor of not yourself, but for the friend of yours. Talk over thousand of minutes, still not wincing to know that you are sleepy and maybe you have slept hundreds of minutes. Discuss the out of topic issue, say an architect’s flaw in designing the building, but still patiently hear you , knowing you are just speaking yourself out, and then hopes that you just shut up , but never says it . Loves you but never expresses it, love though defined, is defined in this relation as the most outrageous thing which can ever happen, and defy all the boundaries and be a friend a friend who would be there for you miss you every moment making you miss the person every moment, make you cry when you know that you don’t want to cry and be too strong in front of the person , to make the friend realize that this is the beginning of a life time of a friendship , which would continue till the end, though the friend may never agree to this, the friend may think you maybe forgotten in this friendship which the friend is cherishing and starts missing every moment. Well that not the end, its there forever there, whatever whoever wherever whenever, a thought preserved, memories integrated care existing, love preservative and us as the Label. Friend is just like this for me, every naughty entertaining highly accepted jovial organized youthful moments spent…………….Take it whatever way you want …………… Friend like This is A Reality for Me………………………

Satur-Day-Ate

Was a day when I felt tantalized by everything around me? First we had a plan which was a real squander of time. Squander of time because, this was one thing which made me really vent something really bad about someone, whom I know and met maybe a cheap number of time, well whatever!

So it all started in the beginning of the week, when one of my friends called me and asked about what are the plans of weekend. Starting from Daman and Diu we ended up with making plans for Alibaug.

Well Alibaug is a place close by to Mumbai famous for beaches. Well we quickly made all the arrangements and everything was decided cut clean and clear. Though there were some hiccups in the beginning, all the deadlocks were clear by evening and we were off to hit the roads at 4 am in the morning. However we were hoodwink (that’s a good word to show my frustration here) by someone and we had to abruptly change our plans. This made me reach a point to execrate someone, whom I wanted to since 27th January. But then there was some flinch which stopped me doing it, and someone else faced the wrath.

Well in the evening I had other plans with my roomies, which was made even though I was somewhat trying to abstemious my self in terms of drinking. Well with an amicable look on my face I agreed and after spending a good beautiful afternoon though not much details here, I was at the meeting point exactly at 745 and we had hit the roads in the Auto rickshaw, and by the time we reached Totos it was already jam packed, leave apart a place to sit , there was no place to stand.

However after much argument with an amalgamation of indecisiveness , we decided to hit Ivy at Worli, which again was few say 15 miles from the place where we were, a hope clinging of finding a place , was soon shattered when we fond the place overcrowded with a waiting time of 1 hr. However too frustrated over everything I decided to wait and by an hour we were in, with each of us having a drink in our hands. To be very honest that was one of the most soothing drink after a hectic day... That was a complete Satur-Day-ate...

It was something like "Din Kuch aise guzzarta hai koi ... Chaak Jigar Ke pee lete hain. jaise bhi ho Pee lete Hain ... Dard mile to seh Lete Hain ........ jaise bhi ho pee lte hain .........""

Old GRE Rules

"The decision to cancel the revised GRE General Test best serves the interests of test takers and the graduate institutions that use those scores to make admissions decisions," says David Payne, Executive Director of the GRE Program at ETS. "After much debate and evaluation, it became clear that the current format offers students more convenient and flexible opportunities to test when and where they choose, while still providing score users with valid predictors of test takers' preparedness for graduate school study."
With all the speculations and ETS canceling further registrations for the exam , on 2nd April ETS and the other GRE committee decided not to scrap away the old format. According to the reports, they found the old format to be more convenient for the users. Also in terms of students it was more Student Friendly than the new format which was supposed to be implemented.
This would definitely be a relief for the students who have been preparing for the same for the last 1 year and who were planning to take up date later this year.

Some Grammar Tips

Among and Between
"Distribute these chocolates among yourselves"
"Distribute these chocolates between yourselves"
What is the similarity between the two statements above, what we observe here, is that even though the statements may look to be the same, the number of people involved is different. In the first statement the number of people involved are more than 2 and in the second statement the number of people 'between whom the chocolates are to be distributed are 2.
However in the first statement clearly the number of people involved are more than 2. Hence what we observe here is that, use between for two things, among for more than two.
Anxious versus Eager.
"Am too anxious about my results which are to be announced today"
"Am also eager on meeting you over this weekend"
Anxious is related to the word anxiety; it traditionally means "worried, uneasy." It's often used, though, where eager or keen would be more appropriate.
As and Like
Normally what happens is that its good to avoid using like as a conjunction. In other words, something can be like something else (there it's a preposition), but avoid "It tastes good like a cigarette should" — it should be "as a cigarette should." Quickie test: there should be no verb in the phrase right after like. Even in phrases such as "It looks like it's going to rain" or "It sounds like the motor's broken," as if is usually more appropriate than like .

Apostrophe
The most common way to form a possessive in English is with apostrophe and s: "a hard day's night." After a plural noun ending in s, put just an apostrophe: "two hours' work" (i.e., "the work of two hours"). If a plural doesn't end in s — children, men, people — plain old apostrophe-s: "children's," "men's," "people's." It's never "mens'" or "childrens'."
There's also the opposite case: when a singular noun ends in s. That's a little trickier. Most style guides prefer s's: James's house. Plain old s-apostrophe (as in James' house) is common in journalism, but most other publishers prefer James's. It's a matter of house style.
Note that, with the exception of the little-used one, the possessives of pronouns never get apostrophes: theirs, not their's; hers, not her's; its, not it's. See It's versus Its.
Apostrophes are sometimes used to make acronyms or other abbreviations plural (another matter of a local house style). My preference: don't use apostrophes to make abbreviations plural — not "They took their SAT's," but "They took their SATs." The only exception is when having no apostrophe might be confusing: "Two As" is ambiguous (it might be read as the word as); make it "Two A's." Never use apostrophes as single quotation marks to set off words or phrases (unless you need a quotation within a quotation).
Using an apostrophe to refer to a decade — the 1960's versus the 1960s — is another matter of house style; again, journalists tend to use the apostrophe, and most other publishers don't. I prefer to omit it: refer to the 1960s or the '60s (the apostrophe indicates that "19" has been omitted), not the 1960's or (worse) the '60's.

Major Upset

Today was a major upset for me, with a month of hard work and some decent preparation , I gave a mock GMAT with a confidence of decent score in previous Kaplan GMAT which were 660 and 680 , my score dipped to 540 in the mock I gave today. 41 in Quant and mere 21 in English.

It’s like now or never for me and the current score is making me go into abyss of failures. A dream which is a long awaited for me seems to be turning into a catastrophe amalgamated with a night mare of 540.

With more than 50 days left for my GMAT, it seems that time has come to revamp and re-design my strategies. An exam more this weekend when am at home would help me decide what I need to redesign. Maybe a bit of excitement and agony , marked as the spoilers in today’s exam.

Coming to the preparation side, have to concentrate more on co-ordinate, permutation and combination and probability part. The statistics part still remains untouched and need to practice a lot on the same. Plan to finish of with OG soon and take up Manhattan guide.

Esnips a wonderful place, a heaven that has help me download some unavailable material. Wren and Martin needs to be concentrated upon more, and the pages starting from the mid 200 where in, correct usage of prepositions etc are given has to be reached before mid April and has to finished off within next 5 days. Maybe writing more blogs and thanks to the Microsoft editor and also Pagalguy threads, my English may come to the original picture , which obviously has been ripped apart into pieces after certain changes have been taken up by me, and a major one of them is the 'Slang Dude English. Still cannot believe how could a boy like me could come to this.

Previous PowerPrep practice sessions made me a bit over confident, with critical reasoning involving 3 mistakes out of 15 and sentence correction involving only a single mistake. This made me refrain from further practices. However now , in addition to Wren and Martin , have taken up Oxford Dictionary, and am trying to mug some important words up and also get to understand and know the meaning of few words, which though English look and sound to me as Latin in the latest taken up novel by me, which is the Snow Country.

Well from today a post daily starts with what are the updates on the GMAT front.

World Cup 2007 'Fiasco

Monday March 5

This day the first match though a warm up match was played in the tournament. A major upset was averted by South Africa when they were bowled out for a mere 192 by the Irish team.

Tuesday March 6

A major upset though went unnoticed, which caused one of the major upset of the World Cup occurred, where in Bangladesh defeated New Zealand in a warm up match.

March 11, the world cup 2007 begins with a bang, with more than billions of hope sticking around for their individual country, a total of 16 teams compete with each other, to be more ellaborate,4 groups with 4 countries in it , out of which the top 2 qualifies for the so called super 8. World top 8 includes acc to various statistics:

Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies.

So these were supposed to qualify and the cup was supposed to be a tough one.

Coming to this point, let us peek into future, a date which was the major attraction since the schedule of the word cup was made, “April 15 2007”. A major match was to be played between India and Pakistan.

A match was to be played by those two countries, which have a good history of the so called understanding between them. An understanding, in terms of rivalry, rivalry, in every single sphere of activities, whether Sports or Politics. Well this is future and what lays ahead no one knows, so let us get into what we know.

Two countries set to compete against each other on 15th April, 29 days remaining.17th March, two countries play those two countries which are sure to loose. Pakistan plays Ireland and India plays Bangladesh. After loosing the first match, this match is crucial for Pakistan to stay in the tournament or India, this match is the test of Team India and the justification of the controversial coach Greg Chappell lame excuses of the previous defeats of India. Coming to excuses, there were occasions, wherein, previous defeats of India were justified as a revamp or an experiment for the coming World Cup.

End of the day, the results are head spinning, India and Pakistan loose their respective match, and Pakistan is out of the tournament.

Now India, with a simple win against Sri Lanka could help them also seal a berth in Semifinals as they would have to play the Irish team in super eight.

A Billion prayers on March 23rd could not save India and India in their worst performances ever in the World Cup faced an Exit. An exit; which marked the end of an Era. An Era of Tendulkar, Ganguly Dravid and Kumble.

As if this was not sufficient; another fiasco, in the world cup took an ugly turn, which even raised questions of the world cup being continued and that was the death (murder or suicide or natural or accidental) of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer.

Anyways or whatever, coming to the so called Team India, what went wrong and what were the losses incurred?

As reported by a leading newspaper, and further reports, a 10 second slot which was sold between 2.5 to 3.5 lakh involving India, would come down to 1 Lakh. This marked a huge loss for the broad caster. This makes up a lot of money which is sufficient to have a decent stretch of road, in the so called some bumpy areas of Mumbai, where millions commute using the road transport due to non availability of trains during rainy seasons, which statistically and strategically speaking is few months away. Well coming to the defeat of team India and who are to be blamed? nobody can be or should be blamed as a person himself; it was what is known as a system failure, in which the Operating System itself had a bug, which caused a total System Shut Down. A team which was so well knit and considered to be the major contender for the world cup 2007 was seen to be shattered by row of controversies and politics. A combined team effort though not enough to secure them a birth in Final would have definitely helped them reach the semifinals at least. With a huge arsenal of runs, about 75K runs, the team was not able to explode in front of the major guns causing a complete catastrophe and a system failure. This early exit of India and Pakistan has marked a new beginning in the Cricket era, and also brought the tyrannosaurus of the match fixing back. The so called gentleman’s game has once again shown the ugly face of the Satan. The Satan, which has set in again here to be a real trouble maker. God Help Us!!!

Caffeine

Hmm Long time, this substance has sustained me and help me reach where I am today, and would help me further to gain some things in my life which are still unexplored though seen in those dreams of mine where in I have really dared to go places, and someone has made me realize that I am the bestest of the best and those dreams are real and can be achieved. I know with coffee around me this is not only reachable but can be attained in a bonus manner. Well lets come to caffeine , you must be thinking that the owner of this blog is insane , well I am , and many people feel the same , even those two eyes feel the same, that is why I am always muttering sorry around to her. How can someone write about caffeine, is this something ubiquitous ,well ubiquitous ,made me think , just yesterday I had an argument as to how do we pronounce this word, well I know that someone would definitely be the first one to read my blog as it has been done in the last few days , and sorry to interrupt other people, well just said sorry am too egoistic to apologize, well I am sorry to that person here how it is pronounced as""""""The first "u" is pronounced like the word "you", while the "i'' in the second syllable is like the "i'' in "bit'', "pit'' and "hit''. The following "q..u..i..t" sounds like the word "quit'', and the final "ous'' is pronounced like the "ous'' in "famous'', "dangerous'', and "courageous''. The main stress is on the second syllable. When you say that something is "ubiquitous'' what you are implying is that it is present everywhere. """"""""
That’s better now , lets come back to caffeine, well I am not addicted to smoke, drink drugs , have never doped, but taken coffee in all the wrong ways, have had it since a child, well this is how it began , when I was maybe 5-6 years old , I could not have milk and as my mother was a dietician , milk was compulsory to us, it was like "HAVE YOUR GLASS OF MILK YOU IDIOT"... and this so happened, that my rickshaw man,( in India we have those manual rickshaw pullers for taking toddlers to school ) was waiting for me out side, and i just couldn’t gulp in and here came my dad, mind you he is the best dad you can ever have, he got so pissed off with me , he took the glass , and said if not his stomach let it be his head, and poured the whole glass on my head. Now that’s again not ubiquitous, well this is how it all began, my mom, put a 'lil coffee in my milk and guess what I loved, it and am still loving it, loving it in every sense, with water, with milk, with cold drinks (I have tried coffee with Coke and Thums Up), and above all Raw, to chew it and enjoy the bitterness of every granule. Chew I can only chew Nescafe, Bru Sucks big sense, you can like bru with Milk not raw. Nescafe anytime is 100% granules of coffee, bru contains chicory. Ok what’s caffeine then , why am I just blabbering about coffee, why not tea?A little bit of technical specification , from wiki"Caffeine is a xanthine alkaloid compound,C8H10N4O2, the systematic name 1,3,7-trimethyl-1H-purine-2,6(3H,7H)-dione, acts as a stimulant in humans. The word comes from the Italian term for coffee, café.The world's primary source of caffeine is the coffee bean (the seed of the coffee plant), from which coffee is brewed. Caffeine content in coffee varies widely depending on the type of coffee bean and the method of preparation used;[9] even beans within a given bush can show variations in concentration. In general, one serving of coffee ranges from 40 milligrams, for a single shot (30 milliliters) of arabica-variety espresso, to about 100 milligrams for a cup(120 milliliters) of drip coffee. Generally, dark-roast coffee has less caffeine than lighter roasts because the roasting process reduces the bean's caffeine content.[10][11] Arabica coffee normally contains less caffeine than the robusta variety. Coffee also contains trace amounts of theophylline, but no theobromine.Tea is another common source of caffeine. Tea usually contains about half as much caffeine per serving as coffee, depending on the strength of the brew.” So coffee is the best thing to have after tea, this small explanation would have been sufficient, that is the why coffee is better than tea. I have never tasted pure caffeine but then my intake of caffeine through coffee amounts to a little more than 10 sachets of Nescafe daily, not much huh!! Well that’s the addiction. People say it prevents sleep but then studies show that ultimately your body gets used to it and thus the so called caffeine induced sleep order doesn’t exist, but then this is the first time when I am facing something from coffee which I observed after my gym after a week "Although you may think you're getting plenty of liquids when you drink caffeinated beverages, caffeine works against the body in two ways: It has a mild dehydrating effect because it increases the need to urinate. And large amounts of caffeine may cause the body to lose calcium and potassium, causing sore muscles and delayed recovery times after exercise. “Well that’s all about coffee and my addiction towards it, however a word of caution though for the people out there, I have tried leaving it 100 of times but still couldn’t, and am writing this blog after drinking 4 sachets of coffee. Would like to tell you, if you are trying to leave it, don’t let it go in one shot, give it time and you would come out of it!!
BUT THEN IF YOU ARE LEAVING COFFEE, IT’S A WASTE!!!

-Amen

Why-Run-Dear

Oops!!! Oops? Hinglish Mistake as it is known as wanted to write about Vi-Run-Der aka Virender Sehwag. A saga told thousands time before and heard and unheard thousand and one times before. World cup fever on a high temperature soaring, snowing in Jammu and Kashmir, blood bath in north east India, with all this feelings there is a mixed reaction of everyone in the country about the so called Crazy World Cup. With board exams scorching it like heat and as the so called young guns get prepared for the big day some where across the seven seas there is a team of 15 on whom there are hopes of the billion of the country. Hope on the 11, is sufficient to suppress the hope of few million, who would be writing their exam, which would build the country, develop the country and help it grow it roots into corruption and development. Two words of high difference, maybe earth and sky, water and fire but then that’s what it is, the two different sides of the same coin. Amazing right, why two different sides of the same coin? Well its something like this, when its tail you don’t see heads, and vice versa. So it’s the same thing when you see corruption you don’t see development and when you see development you don’t see corruption. It’s the same thing when you see runs you don’t see wickets, when you see wickets you don’t see runs, but then if there are only wickets and no runs then it’s a problem with a batsman, but then again good for a bowler. Lets now get into some statistics before we go into details, lets try to compare him with few of the two good crickets of India:
1. Vinod Kambli
M I NO Runs HS Ave SR 100 50 Ct St
104 97 21 2477 106 32.59 71.92 2 14 15 0

2. Sanjay Manjrekar
M I NO Runs HS Ave SR 100 50 Ct St
74 70 10 1994 105 33.23 64.30 1 15 23 0

Virendar Sehwag
M I NO Runs HS Ave SR 100 50 Ct St
167 162 7 4833 130 31.18 96.04 7 24 69 0

Did not try to compare him with some one like Anil Kumble Sourav Ganguly etc, well the reason is quite simple they have held the nerve and have been reasons for India win at least a dozen times more if compared to him. Well about Sehwag , as he was initially called to be an Arsenal of runs in the Indian batting line up, has become, too monotonous in his batting style, and as said in a famous movie “dimag ka khel dil se " , somehow doesn’t seem to work in his stroke play anymore. It has been seen in the history of Indian cricket team, where in people, players have been around in the team, when they did not even deserve Ranji for themselves. Sehwag though considered being a key player has not been able to show much in his current form, and his inclusion in the world cup squad was a big surprise for everyone. World Cup as it is known as and worshiped in some of the countries of the world , India , being the biggest of them , has been under a lot of controversy in the last few days. Cricket though a sport has been eventually so much commercialized where in if taken a complete viewer ship of other channels during a match say India Pakistan, would let it drop by nearly 200 %. The whole point is that, is this really justified? With people like Virender Sehwag being backed up by the so call Wall aka Rahul Dravid, is a thing to be debated upon. There is no doubt though the root of cricket originated in England, India has given the game those fruits which has led to the mass popularity, and also giving everyone a taste of Sweet and Bitterness.
Well what about Virender Sehwag, it would be really foolish of me to say that he has only given India a taste of bitter fruit, he has been the one to give India a taste of Success lets make it Sweet Success, but then it was really necessary to give him a long vacation, an unpaid long vacation and let the so called great advertisers of India pay him the same. With the world cup started , don’t know how may types of weapons this guy would attack the opposition with from his Arsenal of Runs, would be good if at the rite time he would Nuke the Opposition.....
All to Say GOOD LUCK INDIA...............

Calling Maneka!!Is anyone HOME?

First Nashik then Kashmir, two leopards die, one killed and the other dies on the way to the jungle. Well where are the activists now.
Hello Maneka are you listening.
Often we see the headlines as Leopard intrude into the Human area. Well is this the truth or its the vice versa? Is it that we humans are basically intruding their areas? With the current two incidents of Leopard intruding into the Human habituated areas with a few thousand of people living, is no surprise enough to raise an alarm in the Human mind, about the growing distance between the Human Beings and the Creatures of the wild. The current episode of the Leopard intruding into a town and the end footage of the video being shown as the creature being beaten up and the other video showing the creature been beaten till death is really weird and horrid.
This is though no offend to anyone but then there are hundreds of people including children dying in Kashmir daily , and this leopard eating 3 children is brutally Murdered, why don’t the people come out like this against the other Mass Murderers?
Where are their guts, when they need to come out and fight against the so called anti social element who kill or try to kill a few hundred daily?
This forms definitely another part of the debate, coming back to the leopards; this has been seen intensely in the past few years, and where in the area around the Sanjay Gandhi National park in the out skirts of Mumbai has been a big spectator of the cat attacking the common man. With increased efforts of catching the cat have been a waste, the terror among the citizens i.e. the people staying around always engulfs them.
Though the current attacks may have definitely brought back those haunted memories in the mind of the people living around the park in Mumbai, it should also trigger an alarm among the people of the growing interference of us Human beings into the Habitat of the Cat. Deforestation is definitely a very big factor of the above attacks, and if not taken in seriously those days are not far when you would have more than 1 leopard or other wild animals being killed brutally by the so called stronger weapon class of the Earth the Human Beings !!

Indianism v/s Racism

After a hue and cry and media having something to blur upon in channels and all, Shilpa Shetty a known actress in India, suddenly withdraws her racism charges.(Source Rediff.com ; Channel4 website )

With all the media and everyone even the Finance minister of India (I would not mind calling him the Sir of India's Economy; nothing political closeness to be attributed here) and the UK chancellor condemning the so called Racial Remarks against an Indian, this so called Indian actress who has never won even a single Filmfare (the so called Prestigious Award for the Indian Film Industry) withdrew the racism charges.

Amazing Huh!!!

Ok what was it all about; Big Brother is a common show hosted in England, and Shilpa Shetty is one of the contestants, who are supposed to be paid some Millions of Rupees, by the Host of the shows. This show though has an Indian version and has been quite famous suddenly shot itself into maybe one of the top 50 searches by an Indian Surfer within the past 2 days due to the recent controversy of racism charges against the so famous actress of the Indian Film Industry. Ok before going into this lets define racism, racism, according to me is defining someone or a better word would be discriminating some one on the basis of cast, color and obviously region.

Coming to this, what was said in the show that it sparked such protests and everything; before this i read in the introduction of Shilpa Shetty in the so called Channel 4 web page about what she has to say and this is what she has to say "She says...?

"I have zero expectations. The only thing I really hope to keep is my self-respect and my dignity.""

Ok now what happened in the show; as this show is not aired in India; this is what was said (source bbc)

Here 'they' refer to contestant/contestants

"""

They referred to her as "the Indian", made fun of her accent and accused her of wanting to be more light-skinned.

One inhabitant of the Big Brother house said that Indians were so thin because they ate undercooked food, which made them ill.

"""

Well obviously i understand that making fun of accent is or maybe a racial remark, but then is it really a racial remark , even though Indians have become a major part of the complete Globalization happening around the world we all know that every part of India has a different accent of speaking English , and you can easily make out from the so called accent , as to which part of the country are you from ? Coming to the other part, Undercooked food well even burgers have cabbage leaves which is uncooked, maybe the contestants were not knowledgeable about the undercooked food concept.Ok lets come to the other part of it, now this is what I called Racism!!

She ,being called a dog. Yes this is racial remarks, and the other part being touching the food by hands, but then again it depends till what extent you take this to.

Why do I call this racial remarks, we all know there was a so called sign during the British time which was really racial and this happened in the show, where in She was called a Dog. Well this is the part of it where it should be a real reason for the controversy, but now with the actress withdrawing all the charges where do we stand?

Well this statement was obviously though a disgraceful classification, but then where do we all stand in as a country which was united for a single cause of being racially abused and then suddenly the Indian withdraws the charges. Well that’s India isn’t it. Anyways no Hard feelings, with the Chancellor of UK visit to India this was condemned and was also condemned by the Prime Minister Of UK about racism being not tolerated, and the comments though were considered as being really pin pointed towards the country, has been suddenly denied by the person who was being racially abused.

With this controversy becoming the centre of attraction of the latest trip by Gordon Brown, and Shilpa Shetty just asking about the apology and further saying that she is ready to apologize for the same, and to further act to the same withdrawing all the charges of Racism , this thing just seems to be all blown up , blown up by every part of the society ; a remark which though should have not only given a thought to this actress from withdrawing from the show but also asking a full apology for the same. However one thing is sure; this controversy has made us realize that India will not stand any racial abuse and is ready to fight for it!!

This should be the right time for Indians all over the world to stand and fight against the so called Racism and their exploitations if any....
