Stick Out

Hockey is the National Game of India!! Shahrukh Khan is one of the most popular actors in India. What happens when both are combined or mixed together ? Is it like sugar in sugarcane juice.
Well ChakDe is a movie which can be called a sugarcane juice with sugar in it.
I don’t know what critics would like to say about the movie but then, it is a perfect or a near to perfect made movie with no flaws, and even though they exist, they cannot be pointed out.
Something which seldom happen in the Indian cinema, this movie neither has the unnecessary affair prodigy nor does it have songs, where in the actor and actress normally tend to establish themselves as complete fools in the foreign nation. The best part of the movie is that it makes you shift uncomfortably in your seat, which is caused due to anxiety and anxiousness of what is going to happen next, even though you know the result right before the movie started.Although critics have rated this as the best movie of SRK,I would not rate it that way. But then it was definitely at par with his best movie. A striking feature is that you see a much fit SRK.
The plot of the movie revolves not around a bunch of related romantic actors and actresses, but around a group of people who, even though have been portrayed in small roles, they are important parts of every flick in the film. The movie is about a player in hockey who has been declared as a traitor because, he was as per the good ol' Indian Media the culprit behind the loss in the world championship, which was held between the arch rivals Pakistan.
However after a span of 7 years he is set to return!! This time he is there to coach the Indian Women Team, who he believes can win the world cup. The movie tries to show the real hardship and the bitter truth of the National Game which is not so popular.
All the characters portray and show all emotions whether helpless or happy, which definitely wince your eyes at times in the movie.
Even though the movie tries to portray a sense of patriotism, by crossing some barriers, but then overall its worth a big applause not only for King Khan but to everyone who have been related to the film.
I would rate it as a Must Watch!!!
