My Fastest

After loads of 'Google, I completed 'The Afghan, a novel by Frederick Forsyth, that made me realize that for the past 3 months I have been wasting nothing, but my time on train traveling and not reading any books, which has been my hobby since a decade.
Well coming to The Afghan, did a lot of search on net which made me understand what Al-Qaeda is and the threat it poses to the world. Well a beautiful monotonous written novel which makes you so indulged, that you want to know what will happen next. The novel tries to bring into you hardships which are faced by both sides, where in, I would love to call the US and UK, allies and Al-Qaeda, AQ.The description by Frederick really sounds chilling though it maybe not true, or even harder than what has been described. The story evolves round an AQ person in capture, named Izamat Khan , and the dummy which the allies send into AQ,once they come to know about a mass destruction project ,which is about to be undertaken by AQ.The spy is by the name Colonel Martin whose role is very well described. The novel is written in a monotonous pattern, in which the author tries to describe the history of the recruits. Overall I would rate the novel with a rating of 3/5.
The novel, though not my best, gave me a ‘blop back into reading and also helped me to build back my confidence and concentration. Just finished the book in 5 hours which was not that bad huh!! Hope to start with 'Galileo’s Daughter' which was bought by me nearly 5 months back. Plan to finish that soon too. However, have understood something that, my affection for reading still exists.
