Calling Maneka!!Is anyone HOME?

First Nashik then Kashmir, two leopards die, one killed and the other dies on the way to the jungle. Well where are the activists now.
Hello Maneka are you listening.
Often we see the headlines as Leopard intrude into the Human area. Well is this the truth or its the vice versa? Is it that we humans are basically intruding their areas? With the current two incidents of Leopard intruding into the Human habituated areas with a few thousand of people living, is no surprise enough to raise an alarm in the Human mind, about the growing distance between the Human Beings and the Creatures of the wild. The current episode of the Leopard intruding into a town and the end footage of the video being shown as the creature being beaten up and the other video showing the creature been beaten till death is really weird and horrid.
This is though no offend to anyone but then there are hundreds of people including children dying in Kashmir daily , and this leopard eating 3 children is brutally Murdered, why don’t the people come out like this against the other Mass Murderers?
Where are their guts, when they need to come out and fight against the so called anti social element who kill or try to kill a few hundred daily?
This forms definitely another part of the debate, coming back to the leopards; this has been seen intensely in the past few years, and where in the area around the Sanjay Gandhi National park in the out skirts of Mumbai has been a big spectator of the cat attacking the common man. With increased efforts of catching the cat have been a waste, the terror among the citizens i.e. the people staying around always engulfs them.
Though the current attacks may have definitely brought back those haunted memories in the mind of the people living around the park in Mumbai, it should also trigger an alarm among the people of the growing interference of us Human beings into the Habitat of the Cat. Deforestation is definitely a very big factor of the above attacks, and if not taken in seriously those days are not far when you would have more than 1 leopard or other wild animals being killed brutally by the so called stronger weapon class of the Earth the Human Beings !!
