CATASTROPHE

100 ... 150 ... 200 ... Woooooooosssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh 75 .

"75 Questions 300 marks, IIM sealed Qualtiy, 4 marks each question 1 mark for wrong answers each section has 25 question"

This is what was expected when a neat packet of white crisped bonded sealed pack of polythene was given to the person at the cost of 1200 INR. On opening, the quality of 2/3 of the product was below the par and then further even after 10 minutes of solving the 2 parts of the 2/3 parts, it was just anomalous. The paper was completely malnourished with no intergradient of intelligence in either of the two section whether DI or Quant, and was amalgamated with a tinge of adulteration, which are as listed:

Set 111

QA

Q 56: In Set 111 and Set 333, instead of “September: 8” it should be

September: 28”

Although the same question in Set 222, 444 printed it correctly

Q 59: Correct Answer should be 15 Kg, which does not appear among the option

Choices.

Set 444

VA

Q 30: There are only 3 choices instead of 5

Option (3) is incomplete

Two questions, which were worth 10 marks, will this be a reason for a catastrophe in a student's life. Is it again the time for a CAT Retest? What do you think? Is it not that 10 marks in this exam will cause a lot of difference. As per the different institutes reporting different cutoffs is it not that the students who spent the time in solving the above problems will suffer. Think about set 444 where only 3 options were printed.

I believe, CAT Authority will definitely have a say on that, wherein they will say that ,they have the right to ignore any questions, so what about this take of mine, "Let them scrap off the DI and Maths Section and only give calls on the basis of the English Section". This is to tell the people around here that this bumptious behavior of IIM will just not be tolerated; this cannot put the aspirants off. This blow of the IIMS would have caused a concussion, concussion to the minds of the student, yes we all agree, but can it put us into a state of condolence, condolence for what? Condolence to ourselves! Should this thing be condoned? I don’t think so; my take on this is that, a congenial explanation and a solution should be provided for this. What i think is that any decision should not leave anyone in a peculiar predicament. I am not demanding a full restitution for this but want to question in the end only on this "Was it not required by the IIMS to show great prescience in setting the paper and just checking the same before it was sent out".

I have lost my Tranquility!!!
