Indefatigable

Was there a better word i can think of? Well no!That was a perfect word i could think of , when I tried to define "Mumbai". There are some catastrophes every year, when everyone, start from the political parties, to the citizen, have had no difficulty in incriminating (a strong word) each other. There were a total of 7 blasts ( I am keeping it 7 because I have heard the confirmation from the Gov officials in the news ,of 7 blasts, though media and other say 8 ) . The blast, cast a lugubrious shadow over the evening yesterday. Evening was a maelstrom of emotions, people were confused , trying to reach every near and dear, and thanks to the s ‘spectrum owners’ of our country, where they boast about the various services they have to offer, the various offers, their services ; gets to an abyss of failure during such occasions. Will write more about this, in my next post. The blasts emphasizes two things ‘cowardness’ and pity , cowardness’ of the terrorist and pity on the so called democratic government of the country , which is again " By the people , for the people and AGAINST THE PEOPLE " . This should be sufficient, to express what i want to. The NEWS of the blast brought shivers down the spine, and suddenly the thought of my whole bunch of friend who daily travel through that route, and also not to forget, a person here who means the world to me traveling through the same route, was a paranoid feeling. Suddenly, this thought of them , was an amalgamation of both fear and tension. I was scared to the core, and thanks to the mobile phone I could not reach anyone of them. The news spread like fire on petrol, with speculations, about the places where the blasts took place initially. But within minutes it was clear, which were the places which were hit. And within an hour time, it was for any layman to draw up the conclusion that it was a very well coordinated activity (If anyone notices all the previous blasts in the few years, whether it was 9/11, all were well coordinated and within few minutes a series of them took place. As if the prime aim is to cause maximum mayhem).Wish if our system would have been so well coordinated. After few minutes of the blast, everyone displayed an almost maudlin concern .All the compartments were completely obliterated by the blasts .Bodies strewn everywhere, a complete chaos and a disaster. The complete system was down within minutes, as if a stop clock stopped suddenly and then again starts ticking away. Here a worth mentioning coordination - The western railways up and running within few hours (kudos to them). Within few hours there was a red alert sounded in the whole country. Although the rumors started heating up the discussions, all were later ruled out by various authorities. But one question which was lingering in every individual's mind except The Misanthrope was: ‘Who is it? ’ Whatever, Whoever, Whenever, Wherever! It is very important that the people should appear nonchalant. We all know many would have lost their lives, living behind people, who would always feel the vacuum of their presence in their life span. Many of them would be left handicapped missing those parts which were the most important part of their life, and few would have escaped unhurt. The end result, “We are here not to bow ourselves in front of these fanatics, we are here to fight them and tell them its not you, but it is us and we will Win” "The aim of life is no more to control the mind, but to develop it harmoniously; not to achieve salvation here after, but to make the best use of it here below; and not to realize truth, beauty and good only in contemplation, but also in the actual experience of daily life; social progress depends not upon the ennoblement of the few but on the enrichment of democracy; universal brotherhood can be achieved only when there is an equality of opportunity - of opportunity in the social, political and individual life." — from Bhagat Singh's prison diary, p. 124
